Prayer and Love Saves (PALS)

The purpose of the PALS program is to encourage parents who have adult children who have wandered from God and the church. It is to provide an arena in which such parents can overcome their guilt, find support in one another in mutual concern, develop skills to build relationships with adult children and their families and intercede for their adult children in prayer. These lessons may be presented as a series of seminars or in a small group meeting. Click here to download the PALS Programme PDF file.

Support Network for Adventist Parents (SNAP)

Support Network for Adventist Parents is a ministry co-ordinated by lay people for the benefit of all parents. It is a ministry that recognises that Adventist parents face significant challenges in raising children in an increasingly secular society. SNAP therefore recognises the need for parents to encourage each other in these challenges. This is reflected in the Mission Statement of SNAP which is taken from Galatians 6 vs 2 –“Carry each other’s burdens and in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ.”

As well as providing a forum for prayer, presenting programmes in local Adventist churches and encouraging the formation of local SNAP groups, Mike and Vicky Beamish produce a quarterly newsletter covering a variety of topics of relevance to parents. For more information about SNAP, to join the network, or to arrange SNAP visits to your church please email Mike & Vicky: snap.sda@tesco.net. Visit SEC Family Ministires for SNAP newsleters.
