Lungani Sibanda brings into the NEC Communications and Media Department a love for chronicling the various ministerial endeavours and projects we are involved in. This is in the hope that each member is motivated by what they see and that our local communities are attracted to the Seventh-day Adventist movement. He believes in making the Seventh-day Adventist church visible in the British Isles and by so making our soon coming Saviour Jesus Christ part of our everyday life. He says Communication influences every aspect of life. It is our means of connecting with one another and allows us to express our beliefs, ideas, concerns and emotions. It's a part of all our lives and within every department of the church.
Affectionately known as ‘UncleLou’ Lungani’s entry into the world of Communication and Media was at an early age as a film and stage actor. He later incorporated music, writing, radio and filmmaking to his skillset due to his interest in marrying every aspect of sound, visual and written word. As an educator he believes in equipping the churches with the skillset to effectively use and harness traditional and contemporary technologies at our disposal.
“I pray and hope that every member gets involved in the proclamation of the gospel no matter how small you view your skillset. Remember what Jesus said in Matthew 17:20 “And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Let us engage in a dialogue as members of this wonderful movement and this is our mandate to share Jesus”
