For seven years running, the Wycombe Community Church has opened its doors to provide a safe environment and haven for the homeless, during the winter months from January until the end of March.

Each Monday evening, Wycombe Community Church provide approximately 12 male and 83311female guests with warm beds, hot drinks and cooked two course meals plus breakfast. Members from Wycombe Community Church and other local churches volunteer to work in shifts giving their time and care to interact with the homeless guests in the evening. The night volunteers stay awake during the night to ensure the safety and well-being of the guests.

83312Joel Williams, the coordinator from Wycombe Community Church said, "This is a great success, it gives me great satisfaction, knowing when the homeless come to us, we can help them to keep safe, provide hot meals and a warm bed."

Wycombe Community Church works in collaboration with the Wycombe Homeless Connection (WHC). The83313 WHC is a registered charity tackling homelessness in High Wycombe providing support throughout High Wycombe churches.
