IRISH MISSION PATHFINDER CAMPOREE 2016
A historic Pathfinder camporee was held at Kilnasoolagh near Newmarket-on-Fergus, County Clare, on the first weekend of May 2016. More than 180 people attended the event that featured many activities, ranging from top quality preaching, Bible bowl quizes, honour classes, outdoor group activities and more.
The Camporee is becoming something of a tradition in the Irish Mission and every year it gets bigger.
Reacting to the events of the weekend pastor David Neal, president of the Irish Mission quoted a passage from one of the Seventh-day Adventist church pioneers: "With such an army of workers as our youth, rightly trained, might furnish, how soon the message of a crucified, risen, and soon-coming Saviour might be carried to the whole world!" He said, "This weekend is a wonderful affirmation that the future growth of the Seventh-day Adventist church in the Irish Mission is secure."
Anna Boisko took many pictures of the event. She processed them into a video. What are your memories of the event? Let us know in the comments section below the video.
