ADVENTIST DISCOVERY CENTRE GIVES TRIBUTE TO FRETSON TAYLOR

16th February 2017

The staff at the Adventist Discovery Centre UK (ADC) extends their condolences to the family of the late Pastor Fretson Taylor. Pastor Taylor served as the Principal and Chief Bible Tutor of the ADC from 1975-1997. FT

During his tenure, he guided many students through what would have then been called the Voice of Prophecy (VOP) courses. Three members of his team shared their fond memories of Pastor Taylor.

Jean Menkens recalled her admiration for him in that "he overcame his disabilitiesFretsonTaylor_2015 to become the Principal of the VOP."

Joan Taylor said that "he was a wonderful and pleasant man to work with." She added "Pastor Taylor was the Voice of Prophecy and the Voice of Prophecy was Pastor Fretson."

Cynthia Southcott shared "he was humble and had a great sense of humour." She also recalled that he always reasoned well from the Bible.

As Pastor Fretson Taylors rests in wait for his Saviour, we continue to pray for his family during this time.

The funeral of Pastor Fretson Taylor will take place on Friday 3 March at 12:30 pm in the Kettering Seventh-day Adventist church, 1 Canon Street, Kettering, NN16 8RD, followed by a short service at the Kettering Crematorium at 1:45 pm. The family are setting up a JustGiving page for memorial donations to be made, in place of flowers, that will benefit the Adventist Discovery Centre.
