Victoria was born on 18 March 1954, the fourth of eight siblings.  She was educated in Ghana and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) Dip Ed in 1979. After graduation, she worked as an Accounting Tutor for a year and then went on to work as an Auditor Trainee at Deloitte Haskins + Sells (Chartered Accountants) Ghana from 1980 to 1983.

Between 1983 and 1991 Victoria worked with the Church in various capacities – a Treasury Intern at the West African Union Mission, Ghana; as Treasurer at the Adventist Missionary College (now Valley View University); and finally as the District Director, General Conference Auditing Service at Africa-Indian Ocean Division from 1986 to 1991.

She travelled to London in 1991 to pursue a professional accounting course. She qualified as an Associate Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2004 and became a Fellow of the Association (FCCA) in 2009.

Victoria moved to Nottingham in 2004 to take up the position of Assistant Treasurer at the North England Conference, becoming Associate Treasurer in 2007. In 2012, she decided to leave and return to Ghana to be with family after twenty-one long years abroad.

Baptized into the Adventist faith in 1971, she served in various capacities both at the Labone church, Ghana and the Wood Green church in England. Victoria was committed in her relationship with God and daily spent time in prayer and the study of the Word. She was loving and was always willing to sacrifice for the good of others.

After a short illness, Victoria died on Sabbath 3 June. Her funeral will take place on Sunday, 9 July in Accra, Ghana.

We remember her family in our prayers and trust they are comforted in the knowledge that the Lord Victoria loved and served will call her from the grave on the resurrection morning.
