London Ghana Helps Clean Local Community

27th September 2018

For the second year running, on 2 September 2018, members of the London Ghana Seventh-day Adventist church got their cleaning clothes on and helped clean the streets within the church's vicinity as well as the area surrounding the Newham Leisure Centre in Plaistow.

There were about 150 members who turned up and worked so hard that residents could not resist but come out and express their appreciation.image3

The senior pastor of the church Pastor Boakye Asiamah commended members for always supporting church community initiatives.

This is the second community event the church has held in a space of 2 months. On 22 July a Community Health Expo was held at Plaistow Park in Newham where over 200 locals were health screened which included free dental care and advice from health professionals.

We look forward to the next community event where we can help make an impact and send a clear message that we want to be a caring church.
