The Tragic Death of Samantha Clarke (née Bullock)

4th May 2018

It is with unspeakable sadness that the family of Samantha Clarke share about her untimely death.

Samantha, 38 years old, was found by her husband Paul, brutally murdered in their bedroom with multiple stab wounds. She died at the scene on Sunday 15 April, 2018, in Brixton.

Samantha, the eldest of her siblings, leaves behind husband Paul, 14-year-old son, Josh, parents Camilla and Wilmoth Bullock, and siblings, Venessa, Dwaine, Craig and Janelle.

Samantha grew up in the High Wycombe area, attending the local Adventist church with her family. Samantha was a life-loving young woman, with so much to live for. Her world revolved around her son, Josh, who is a keen footballer.

Over the years, Samantha has worked in the hospitality industry, recently securing a job at a prestigious hotel in Henley. The family were planning to move back to High Wycombe as a result. She was very ambitious, adventurous, enjoyed travelling and spending time with her son.

"There are no words to describe the agony of losing a daughter! Knowing that one day we will be reunited again with our loving daughter, brings comfort and peace to the family", says Samantha's dad.

Parents Camilla and Wilmoth Bullock, from the beautiful island of St Vincent and the Grenadines, are regular members of the High Wycombe Seventh-day Adventist church. They have been dedicated members and over the years have held many church offices. The Bullock family is well-known across Area five.

The family of Samantha would like to thank everyone for the many messages of condolence, prayers and visits. They would greatly appreciate you sharing a tribute or memory of Samantha by visiting:

Since the beginning of the year, there have been over 60 deaths in London as a result of gun and knife crime. Samantha's murder puts a face and a name to these statistics. It becomes much closer and more personal. How long will this trend continue?

On Monday 7 May, the Hackney Pathfinder Club will hold an anti-gun and knife crime march in Hackney. A wide cross-section of the community, young and old will come together showing their disapproval to this culture. We can fight for a better way.

Please keep the family in your prayers.
