CHIP Coordinator TED
We are pleased to announce a position available as CHIP Regional co-ordinator.
The Trans-European Division in co-operation with the Lifestyle Medicine Institute (LMI) is looking to fill the position of CHIP Regional co-ordinator.
The Complete Health Improvement Program (CHIP) is a lifestyle enrichment program designed to reduce disease risk factors through the adoption of better health habits and appropriate lifestyle modification. Programme results have been published in over 31 scientific articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, including the American Journal of Cardiology, the Journal of the American Dietetic Association, and Preventive Medicine. CHIP is endorsed by the Physicians’ Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM), the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI), and the International Nutrition Research Foundation.
This position is based at the Trans-European Division Headquarters in St Albans, England, which is the international headquarters covering Northern Europe, and parts of Central and Southern Europe. This is a 60% or more position, which can be discussed during interviews with potential candidates.
Summary of role:
The CHIP Regional co-ordinator will assist the TED Health Ministries director by leading the strategy to ensure growth of the Complete Health Improvement Programme (CHIP) within the TED and drive the day-today operational aspects of the programme.
The successful candidate will have:
- BA or higher qualification in a Health or Business related field.
• Management experience in a health-related industry
• Knowledge of UK/Europe health care/medical system
• Start-up business experience
• Business development experience
The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of English, the right to live and work in the UK and hold a current drivers licence. They also need to have a good understanding of, adhere to and reflect the ethos and values of, the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
