Property Development Manager

 

The South England Conference (SEC) seeks to recruit a Property Development Manager.  Under the leadership of the Property Development Director, the Property Development Manager will deliver a professional and efficient support service to the Property Development Director, co-ordinate and manage contractors to ensure compliance of projects.  You will also provide assistance and direction to contractors, church Pastors/building committee heads and the Seventh-day Adventist Association, to ensure the SEC property services’ objectives are fully met.

Initial Priorities will include:

·      To develop a property portfolio which records all buildings, budget and contact information of all SEC owned properties

·      To gather contact details of all relevant local authorities building departments, contractors, solicitors, architects and engineers

 

Requirements of the role

Qualifications: 

·      Undergraduate degree or equivalent proven professional experience is desirable

·      Previous relevant experience working within the charity sector would be advantageous

·       Being able to work flexibly when required

·       Being self-motivated and able to organise own work to meet deadlines as well as being able to take ownership of tasks

 

Skills and Experience: 

·       Understanding of the repairs and maintenance functions within the charity sector and the regulatory and statutory requirements

·       To be able to demonstrate a methodical approach to work, with sound organisational skills within a team environment but also the ability to work on your own

·       To be proficient in operating IT systems such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Housing, Finance and Asset Management database systems

·       A demonstrable commitment to customer service

 

Working 37.5 hours per week and based upon previous proven experience, the gross monthly salary, which includes London Weighting will range between £2,497.47 to £3,093.81.
